Got over to see the boat this morning, looks great. Lots of work to do, but we’re very pleased. Spent most of the day getting a place to stay, checking out the neighborhood and buying a few things for the boat. Still planning on launching on Saturday. Need to get some batteries and a generator soon, and then we need to find a dinghy. Unloaded about a third of the truck into our hotel room to start sorting through everything, much more to do on that! There’s dishes and pots and pans, so we won’t have to spend $$$ on that stuff, going to do an inventory on thru-hulls tomorrow so I can buy the hose clamps and get them all replaced. Lots of work to do now that we’re here, no time to play around!
