Found out on Friday afternoon that the bank didn’t expedite the replacement cards so they won’t be here for 7-10 business days… Thanks Great Basin Federal Credit Union for screwing that up. I’d made it quite clear that we were trying to leave the country and we needed the cards as soon as possible. At this point we missed the weather window that would have been good to go to the Bahamas, so now we’ll be stuck here a little longer waiting for favorable weather… Looking for winds from the south through the gulf stream just east of West Palm Beach at about 10-25 miles per hour, from about midnight to noon, preferably without rain. Of course you never get exactly what you want, so we’ll just have to see what comes. God’s timing, we’ll be waiting on weather a lot over the next year, may as well get used to it now. So, we wait….I’m so good at waiting!
Today I pulled out the GoPro and dropped it in the river, then sent it up the mast… The river pictures kind of looked like a sewer tour, so I didn’t keep any of those, but here’s a couple of pictures from up the mast.
